Crack - Super Futbol (1979)

1979

Super Futbol
Crack
Argentina
144 cards

Richard Black has provided another checklist. The first 24 cards are photographic and show Diego Maradona.

UPDATE (08-11-2017 12:14):  I originally stated that the rest of the cards were caricatures as shown above but Gregory Graetz has informed me that this is not correct. The rest of the cards are a mixture of caricature cards and small circular discs, but I don't have enough information to provide further details yet.
UPDATE (04-04-2018 19:12):  I've amended the name of the issuer from 'Industria Argentina' to Crack. 'Industria Argentina' just means 'Made in Argentina' , as it was the only identifiable name on the album I presumed it was the name of a publishing company. I have since been informed that just about all the albums issued in Argentina from this period didn't include a publishers name but were actually issued by a firm named Crack.

  1. That's correct. Crack was the most important publisher between the 50's and early 80s. Their soccer collections are highly sought-after and quite expensive. In fact, Crack '78 album includes two of the most expensive Maradona cards (figuritas as called in Argentina) sold on ebay right now.
