ReplyDeleteand I'm trying to find out more information about this set. I don't remember them at all from the time, and I've never seen a wrapper reproduced anywhere online. My theory is that this set was not officially issued in the UK. Could be correct? Also, you mention that the set was issued in Australia by Scanlens. Do you have any references for the Aussie issue? DeleteYou could be right, regarding it not being a UK release. I'd stopped collecting by the time this set came out, but when I started up again, I did see the cards in dealers collections. I was told about there being an Australian release but I don't have any concrete information. I add it here hoping someone might come forward with confirmation, but that hasn't been the case.
