    Denis Compton is actually his brother Leslie Compton, unless both players are featured. I have the cutout of Leslie.

  4. This series is from the 1948-49 season as referenced in the biographies on the backs.
    In addition, i have a Tom Finney of Preston North End not in you checklist.

    1. Thanks for getting in touch. Although the biography for these mentions the 1948-49 season the magazine they come from was published in 1949. The Tom Finney one probably comes from a different publication called Meet The Soccer Stars. Here's a link to the checklist:
