Footballers
Birmingham Express & Star newspaper
48 in set, perhaps more
Following the end of the Second World War paper was in short supply. As cigarette cards hadn't re-surfaced newspapers, both locally and nationally quickly provided 'collectable' series of footballers, amongst many other things, that were intended to be cut-out and collected.
