My wife spotted the front page of the Metro newspaper yesterday and thought they might be giving away football cards or stickers, but it seems they are using the designs to attract attention. Gone are the days when newspapers and magazines used to produce their own football cards and stickers.
Man, that design is so melancholic. Quintessential 90s and 2000s. If those were real, I'd be collecting them in a heartbeat. Everything is so overproduced these days. I miss the time when player pictures were taken on the pitch..
ReplyDeleteYes, totally agree. I was more than a little disappointed to find they weren't giving away cards or stickers. But should have realised in the current climate that would never happen, everyone wants their cut.
