Kazan (Turkey) - Footballers (2024-25)

800+ cards

Alastair Ross has added a couple of these cards to this collection but he doesn't know much about them. We know they are from Turkey but have no idea who issued them or what name the collection goes by. The cards seem to come from the 2024-25 season as Jaden Philogene only joined Ipswich Town on 15 January, 2025. It seems to be a huge collection judging by these two card numbers. I thought I'd include these on my blog in the hope that someone will be able to provide further details.
UPDATE (23-10-2025 16:16):  Thanks to a comment below, it's thought the issuer might be Kazan. I have quite a few checklists from their earlier card series on my blog. You can check them out via the Index in the right-hand column.

660. Cristiano Ronaldo (Al-Nassr FC)
806. Jadon Philogene (Ipswich Town)

  1. Hi Alan. I believe these are produced by KAZAN in Turkey. You have featured some of their cards in the past. From what I can gather, they have been producing cards since 2012. I do have a few Liverpool players from various sets. I think they are issued in sheets, as they have perforated edges. There is a Turkish based seller on Ebay that regularly lists cards from new sets (or update sets). They are Turkish language. Some cards have high numbers (as illustrated by the pictures shown) and many have variations (foil cards, etc.). I think I have identified at least 64 sets, or subsets, and that's only the ones featuring Liverpool players!

  2. I think you are probably right about it being a Kazan release, I'll amend the heading accordingly. I seen lots of cards on eBay but the seller doesn't include card numbers in his listings. If he did I might have a go at compiling a checklist. It's been a few years since my friend in Turker used to send me scans and checklists, though that is probably my fault as I've struggled to keep up with e-mails and have nearly 600 unanswered ones in my inbox.
    Take care and stay safe,
    Alan

  3. Licenses are not closely monitored in Turkey, and these cards are unlicensed, low-quality products sold in small supermarkets.
