To play the finger football game the cardboard footballers are intended to be attached to the fingers with elastic bands. The advert shown here comes from page 11 of the Dundee Evening Telegraph, dated 9 December, 1921. I have no idea who the last person is (he looks like former British Prime Minister Harold Wilson, but it's 40 years too soon for it to be him).
