Football cards and stickers issued around the world, from the 1880's to the present day and even some that haven't been issued yet. I don't have any cards for sale, nor do I provide valuations, this blog is just a means of passing on information I have gathered over many decades of collecting. Alan Jenkins.
1923-24 Album Sport M. Garcia Spain 11 cards A couple of weeks ago I included some Spanish postcard-sized cards from 1924 (M. Garcia (Spain) - Album Sport (1924)), this is an earlier set dated 1923-24. The cards don't include the team name because they were sold as a set in a packet that includes the club emblem and date on the front. These cards also differ as they include the players position next to the name. The packet was stapled in a wrap-around cover. Unfortunately the one shown here has part of the cover missing, but you can see that the cut-away portion in the centre allows the buyer to see which team is featured within. At the moment I only have details about the F.C. Barcelona set, but it's likely that C.D. Europa and R.C.D. Espanol and perhaps Real Madrid. Alcantara (F.C. Barcelona) Carulla (F.C. Barcelona) Marti (F.C. Barcelona) Pascual (F.C. Barcelona) Piera (F.C. Barcelona) Planas (F.C. Barcelona) Sagi-Barba (F.C. Barcelona) Samitier (F.C. Barcelona) Sancho (F.C. Barcelona) Surroca (F.C. 1982 El Mundial de España en el Canal 13 Canal 13 Argentina 176 stickers and pogs Ferenc Pelt sent me scans of this Paul Breitner sticker and asked if I know anything about the set. I don't have a complete checklist but what information I do have is included here. I believe the album has 24 pages so I think 176 is the total number of stickers and pogs in this collection.
