Grimsby Town issued their second sticker album last season, though I only found out about it this week, thanks to Lloyd Thomas.
After the success of the 2014/15 album the club will reprise the idea, allowing fans the chance to collect stickers of each member of Paul Hurst’s squad once again. Along with the 2015/16 squad, supporters will be able to collect team pictures of each of the National League clubs as well as a number of ‘cult hero’ stickers, designed by the same people who produce the popular centrefolds in the matchday programme this season. In total there will be 64 stickers to collect and four will be included in every edition of The Mariner – starting with the issue for the game against Forest Green Rovers. Just like the previous season, collectors were able to purchase packs of stickers from the club at £1 each. Collectors can swap their duplicated stickers on Twitter using the #gotgotneedgtfc hashtag.
