Murton's (Henry A. Murton Ltd.) - Advert card (1902)

1902

Advert card
Murton's (Henry A. Murton Ltd.)
1 card

An adverising card produced by Murtons's stores in Newcastle and Sunderland. In 1848, Henry Murton founded an agency for the sale of industrial rubber products next door to the premises of George Angus in Grey Street. His son, Henry Angus Murton continued the business and took over the Angus premises in 1868. In 1902, Henry Angus moved to a Grainger Street site at the corner of the Bigg Market and stayed there as a retail store until the shop was sold to the Co-Op in 1957.

Some more NFL cards of Chris Bahr [Philadelphia Atoms (Soccer - NASL), Cincinatti Benglas (NFL), Oakland Raiders (NFL), Los Angeles Raiders (NFL), San Diego Chargers (NFL)] referring to his soccer career. By the way, Chris' father Walter played in the United States team that beat England 1-0 in the 1950 World Cup tournament in Brazil. Chris Bahr and his brother Matt feature on lots of cards, but I'm only interested in those that reference their soccer careers.
