When were these issued? I've found some more of these strange cards. All with plain backs, these newest discoveries are printed in red and blue on white card. Some of the ones I displayed previously don't have team names on them and they were assumed to be of certain clubs (e.g. Notts County - but is that really a magpie - middle card in the last row), the ram must be Derby County and the one with the anvil could certainly be West Ham United. The cards in the last but one row were identified as Crystal Palace, Everton, Luton Town and Blackpool. I can understand the Everton one, but the Luton Town one is the same card. All thoroughly confusing.
They seem old, possibly pre-First World War. Lincoln City were a Second Division team up to 1920. Swindon Town, although  a non league side during this period, reached the F.A. Cup Semi-Final in 1909-10, won the Southern League Championship in 1910-11 and competed in the 1911 F.A. Charity Shield (losing 8-4 to Manchester United). Woolwich Arsenal dropped the Woolwich reference in 1913.
